When I received it I was concerned That it wasn't as thick as "Bloody April", it's a little over 200 pages but is very well done on high quality paper. The strength of Hart's books to me are the many primary source accounts included. There are many excellent photos spread throughout the book unlike "Bloody April where the||Another dimension of the Somme battles by an established British historian. (WWI Historical Foundation)
