The chapter on the Training Years was accurate based on my experience and brought back a lot of memories. I only wish he had spent even more time on exercises like Operation Checkmate II in Turkey. I was nineteen years old and had never been out of the country in my life. I was a lowly Pfc on the lead aircraft that day.
